Oven displays F7; buttons may seem to press themselves or the oven beeps randomly.

Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before removing the control panel.

• Clean around buttons: If the oven has mechanical push buttons, clean around them with a mild degreaser and a soft cloth to remove grease that may cause sticking.
• Inspect keypad membrane: Remove the control panel and visually inspect the keypad membrane for bubbles, warping, or burn marks.
• Check ribbon cable: Unplug and inspect the keypad ribbon for cracks or worn traces. Replace the touchpad / keypad assembly if damaged.
• Test after reseating: Reseat the ribbon cable into the control board, restore power, and see if the F7 code returns. If it does, the keypad or control board is likely defective.
• Replace control board if necessary: If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, replace the electronic oven control board.
