Possible Causes
Missing L2 leg of 240V supply, Loose connection at terminal block, Tripped internal thermal fuse, Faulty line relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: This involves live 240V circuits. If you are not experienced with electrical testing, contact a qualified technician.
- Check breakers: Verify that the double-pole breaker feeding the oven is fully on and not partially tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Inspect terminal block: With power off, remove the rear cover and inspect the terminal block for loose or burnt connections. Tighten screws and replace any damaged components.
- Test line voltage: With appropriate precautions, measure voltage between L1 and L2 at the terminal block. It should be around 240V. If one leg is missing, the issue is in the house wiring or breaker.
- Check internal thermal fuse: Locate any inline thermal fuse or cutoff on the back or top of the oven. Test for continuity; replace if open.
- Control board relay: If supply voltage and fuses are good, the electronic oven control board may not be sending power to the elements and may need replacement.
