Oven interior light stays on all the time, even when the door is closed.

Safety First: Turn off power before working on the door switch or control board.

• Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes fully and presses the door switch plunger.
• Test door switch: Access the oven door switch and test for continuity. It should change state when pressed. Replace if it does not.
• Inspect wiring: Check for shorted wires around the door switch area.
• Control board: If the switch and wiring are good, the light relay on the electronic oven control board may be stuck closed and require board replacement.
