Possible Causes
Metal panels expanding and contracting, Loose oven racks or accessories, Loose mounting screws on elements or fan, Warped oven liner
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Allow the oven to cool before tightening any screws or adjusting components.
- Identify source: Listen carefully to locate where the noise originates (back panel, sides, top, or racks).
- Secure racks: Ensure oven racks are properly seated in their guides and not contacting the oven walls.
- Tighten hardware: Remove the rear and top panels and tighten any loose screws on the bake element brackets, convection fan shroud, and internal panels.
- Check for warped panels: If a panel is visibly warped and flexes loudly with heat, consider replacing the affected inner oven liner panel or associated brackets.
- Normal expansion: Some mild popping from metal expansion is normal, but very loud or sharp bangs may indicate loose or damaged parts.
