Oven display is blank or flickers; oven may not respond, but interior light might still work.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the control console.

• Check supply to control board: Access the top/front panel and verify that mains power reaches the Toshiba control PCB terminal block (only if qualified to test live circuits). If no power, inspect the oven terminal block and house wiring.
• Inspect PCB for damage: With power off, look for burnt components, bulged capacitors, or darkened areas on the control board. A failed low‑voltage section will often show visible damage.
• Reseat display connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon or plug that links the display module to the main PCB. Ensure no pins are bent.
• Replace control board or display: If the low‑voltage section is dead or the display glass is cracked, replace the Toshiba control module or display assembly as specified in the parts list.

Work on live mains circuitry should only be done by a qualified person. If you are not experienced, limit yourself to visual inspection and call a technician.
