Steam oven reports a steam generator overheat or dry-boil error; steam stops during operation.

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the steam generator to cool completely before servicing.

• Descale steam generator: Remove the water tank and follow Toshiba's descaling instructions to remove limescale from the steam circuit. This improves heat transfer and prevents dry-boil.
• Check water flow: Ensure the pump delivers water to the generator. Inspect hoses for kinks or blockages and clear them.
• Inspect thermal fuse and sensor: Access the steam generator assembly. Test the thermal fuse and temperature sensor for continuity/resistance. Replace any open thermal fuse or out-of-spec sensor with Toshiba-approved parts.
• Reset error: After repairs and descaling, reset the oven (power cycle) and run a short steam test cycle while monitoring for errors.

Repeated overheat errors can permanently damage the steam generator; address limescale and flow issues promptly.
