Possible Causes
Partially failed heating element, One of multiple elements not energizing, Poor door seal, Low mains voltage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before testing elements.
- Test all elements: Measure resistance of top, bottom, and convection elements individually. Replace any element with open circuit or significantly higher resistance than Toshiba specifications.
- Check relays: Listen for relay clicks when switching modes. If a mode should use multiple elements but only one relay clicks, the control board may not be energizing all heaters.
- Inspect door gasket: Replace a flattened or cracked gasket that allows heat to escape.
- Verify supply voltage: Have an electrician confirm that the oven is receiving correct voltage at the terminal block.
