Possible Causes
Stuck cooling fan relay, Shorted triac on control PCB, Shorted wiring causing constant fan power
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the circuit breaker before accessing internal components.
- Confirm behavior: Verify that the fan runs as soon as power is applied, regardless of oven temperature or settings.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the top cover and trace the cooling fan wiring from the motor to the control board. Look for pinched or shorted wires.
- Check control board: On the main PCB, locate the cooling fan relay or triac. Look for signs of overheating or a welded relay contact.
- Replace PCB: If the relay/triac is stuck on, replace the main control PCB. Component-level replacement is possible but not recommended for non-professionals.
After repair, confirm that the fan only runs when the oven is heating or cooling down, and that E18 is no longer displayed.
