Possible Causes

Open convection element, Burnt wiring to convection element, Failed convection heater relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the rear cover or fan cover inside the oven.

  • Access convection element: Remove the screws holding the fan cover inside the oven cavity. Behind it, you will find the circular convection element around the fan.
  • Inspect element: Look for breaks or burn marks on the circular element. Any visible damage requires replacement.
  • Continuity test: From the rear of the oven, disconnect the convection element terminals and measure resistance. Typical values are 20–40 Ω. An open circuit indicates failure.
  • Check wiring and relay: Inspect the wiring harness from the element to the main PCB for heat damage. On the PCB, check the convection heater relay for signs of overheating. Replace the convection element if open; if the element is good but not powered, the control board or relay is suspect.

After replacing the faulty part, test a fan-assisted bake cycle to confirm that heating is restored and E6 is cleared.
