Possible Causes
Burnt-out oven bulb, Faulty lamp holder contacts, Failed lamp switch or relay on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power before changing the bulb to avoid electric shock.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the oven. Replace the bulb with a Tristar-compatible oven lamp of the correct wattage and temperature rating.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for corrosion or burnt contacts. If damaged, replace the lamp holder assembly.
- Check door switch: If the lamp is controlled by the door, verify the door switch operates correctly by testing continuity.
If the bulb and holder are good but the lamp never turns on, the lamp relay on the control PCB may be faulty and the board may need replacement.
