Possible Causes

Tripped double-pole breaker supplying only one leg, Loose power cord connection at terminal block, Burned terminal block on range, Open wiring between terminal block and EOC

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: This involves live 240V circuits. If you are not trained, contact a qualified electrician or technician.

Steps:

  • Check the range/oven breaker in the electrical panel. Turn it fully off and back on to reset. A partially tripped breaker can leave control electronics powered but disable heating.
  • Unplug the range or turn off the breaker. Remove the rear access cover to inspect the power terminal block where the cord connects.
  • Look for melted plastic, burned wires, or loose screws. Tighten loose connections and replace any burned terminal block and damaged wiring.
  • If comfortable and with proper meter and PPE, verify 240V across L1 and L2 at the terminal block when power is restored. If only 120V is present, have an electrician correct the supply.
