Possible Causes

Failed cooling fan motor, Open cooling fan thermostat, Broken or disconnected fan wiring, EOC not energizing fan relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before servicing.

Steps:

  • Access the cooling fan and attempt to spin the blades by hand. If stiff or seized, replace the fan motor.
  • Test the cooling fan thermostat for continuity at elevated temperature (may require heating with a heat gun while monitoring). Replace if it does not close when hot.
  • Check wiring continuity from the EOC to the fan motor.
  • If the fan and thermostat are good but the fan never receives power, the EOC fan relay may be faulty; replace the EOC.
