Possible Causes
Cooling fan thermostat stuck closed, EOC fan relay welded closed, Shorted wiring causing constant power to fan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the fan or control components.
Steps:
- Allow the oven to cool completely and verify that the fan still runs with the oven off.
- Locate the cooling fan thermostat and test for continuity at room temperature. If closed when it should be open, replace the thermostat.
- If the thermostat is functioning correctly, inspect the EOC fan relay. If the relay contacts are welded closed, replace the EOC.
- Check wiring for any bypass or short that could be feeding constant power to the fan.
