Possible Causes
Loose convection fan blade or mounting screws, Warped or loose oven racks, Loose internal panels or heat shields, Failing convection motor bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before tightening or removing parts.
Steps:
- Remove all racks and accessories, then run the oven briefly to see if the noise disappears. If so, inspect racks for warping and ensure they are seated properly.
- Remove the convection fan cover and check that the fan blade is tight on the shaft and not contacting the cover. Tighten or replace as needed.
- Inspect internal panels and heat shields for loose screws; tighten all accessible fasteners.
- If the noise is a grinding or squealing from the fan area, the convection motor bearings may be failing; replace the motor assembly.
