Possible Causes
Loose convection fan blade, Worn convection fan motor bearings, Loose internal panels or screws, Cooling fan hitting shroud
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before accessing internal parts.
- Identify mode: Note whether the noise occurs only in convection mode or in all modes. Convection-only noise points to the convection fan motor.
- Inspect convection fan: Remove the rear interior panel and check that the fan blade is tight on the shaft and not bent. Tighten or replace the convection fan blade or motor if loose or noisy.
- Check cooling fan: From the rear, inspect the cooling fan for contact with its shroud or wiring. Adjust or replace the cooling fan motor if necessary.
- Tighten panels: Tighten any loose screws on the back panel, side panels, and internal baffles that may vibrate during operation.
