Oven door will not close fully or appears crooked; heat escapes around the door.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door.

• Step 1 – Inspect hinges: Open the door and check both hinges for bending, cracks, or missing hinge pins. Wiggle the door to feel for excessive play.
• Step 2 – Tighten mounting screws: With the door partially open, tighten the screws securing the hinges to the door and to the oven frame.
• Step 3 – Check gasket: Inspect the door gasket for bulges or sections that are out of the channel and preventing closure. Reseat or replace the gasket as needed.
• Step 4 – Replace hinges: If the door still does not align or close properly, replace both door hinges as a set using the correct Zline parts.

Note: Misaligned doors can cause poor temperature regulation and heat damage to surrounding cabinets.
