Possible Causes

Stuck fan relay on control board, Sensor reading falsely high temperature, Shorted wiring to fan circuit, Control board logic fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the control area.

  • Step 1 – Allow full cool-down: Ensure the oven is completely cool. Some models keep the fan running for a while after use; this is normal. If it runs for hours, continue troubleshooting.
  • Step 2 – Power reset: Turn the breaker OFF for 5–10 minutes, then ON. If the fan stops and behaves normally afterward, monitor it.
  • Step 3 – Inspect control board: If the fan starts running as soon as power is restored, the fan relay on the control board may be stuck closed. Replace the control board.
  • Step 4 – Check sensor: A sensor reading too hot can cause the control to keep the fan on. Test the oven temperature sensor and replace if out of spec.

Note: Continuous fan operation can wear out the motor and be noisy; address the cause promptly.
