Possible Causes

Loose convection fan blade, Debris caught in fan, Warped oven racks or panels, Loose internal screws or panels

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before inspecting inside.

  • Step 1 – Remove racks and accessories: Take out all racks, trays, and accessories. Run the oven briefly to see if the noise persists. If it stops, the noise is from racks or accessories.
  • Step 2 – Check convection fan: Remove the interior fan cover and inspect the fan blade for looseness or contact with the cover. Tighten the fan nut if loose and remove any debris.
  • Step 3 – Inspect panels and screws: Check the rear and side panels inside and outside the oven for loose screws. Tighten any that are rattling.
  • Step 4 – Replace damaged parts: If the fan blade is bent or the motor shaft is loose, replace the convection fan motor assembly.

Tip: Some minor ticking noises during heating and cooling are normal due to metal expansion and contraction.
