How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before cleaning the hopper.
- Step 1 – Remove wet pellets: Scoop out all pellets and vacuum remaining dust from the hopper and auger tube.
- Step 2 – Dry interior: Wipe the hopper dry and allow it to air dry completely before refilling.
- Step 3 – Inspect gasket and lid: Check the hopper lid seal. Replace the hopper lid gasket if cracked or missing.
- Step 4 – Use a cover: Protect the grill with an ASMOKE grill cover when not in use.
- Step 5 – Check auger for rust: If the auger shaft is heavily rusted, remove and clean or replace the auger assembly.
