How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill and empty the hopper before working on the auger.
- Empty hopper: Remove pellets to expose the auger intake.
- Check for visible jams: Look for chunks of wood or foreign objects at the auger intake.
- Remove auger: Detach the auger motor and slide the auger out. Inspect for bends, scoring, or heavy wear.
- Clean tube: Remove pellet dust and debris from the auger tube.
- Replace worn parts: If the auger shaft is bent or the motor is noisy when run off-load, replace the auger shaft or auger motor with Broil King-compatible parts.
