Display or app shows “WiFi ERR” or cannot connect to Camp Chef Connect app.

Safety first: Network troubleshooting does not require opening the grill; do not disassemble live electronics.

• Check signal strength: Move your phone to the grill location and verify strong WiFi signal.
• Use 2.4 GHz: Ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network; many IoT devices do not support 5 GHz only.
• Re-pair device: Follow the Camp Chef app instructions to forget and re-add the grill, entering the correct WiFi password.
• Power cycle: Turn the grill OFF, unplug for 1 minute, then power back on and retry pairing.
• Controller replacement: If WiFi remains nonfunctional while all other grill functions work, the WiFi module or controller may need replacement.
