How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill and ensure it is cool before accessing the auger.
- Empty hopper: Remove pellets from the hopper to expose the auger intake.
- Check for jam: Look for compacted pellets or foreign objects at the auger intake and remove them.
- Inspect coupler/pin: Access the auger motor and verify the coupler or drive pin between motor and auger is intact. Replace if broken.
- Test motor: With the auger disconnected, plug in the grill and start a feed cycle. If the motor does not turn, replace the auger motor.
