Possible Causes
Tripped GFCI outlet, Damaged power cord, Blown main fuse on control board, Failed control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the grill is unplugged before inspecting the cord or opening panels.
- Check outlet: Test the outlet with another device and reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Check main fuse: Remove the control panel cover and locate the main fuse. Replace with the same rating if blown. If it blows again immediately, there is likely a shorted component or board.
- Replace control board: If power is present at the cord but the board remains dead, replace the control board with a Char‑Griller compatible unit.
