Temperature Calibration / Offset Issue
Digital temperature reading on the grill does not match a separate oven thermometer by more than 20–30°C.

Possible Causes
Sensor placement difference, Controller offset not set correctly, Aging RTD probe, Hot or cold spots in cook chamber
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use heat-resistant gloves when placing or removing thermometers in a hot grill.
- Verify with multiple points: Place a reliable oven thermometer or probe near the grill's RTD sensor and compare readings at several temperatures.
- Adjust offset: If your Enders controller supports temperature offset, adjust it to bring the displayed temperature closer to the measured average.
- Replace aging sensor: If readings are unstable or far off, install a new Enders grill temperature sensor (RTD).
- Understand hot spots: Recognize that some variation across the grate is normal; use the area closest to the sensor for critical cooking.
