Display shows Er07; grill will not power up fully or reboots when starting the igniter.
Safety Warning
This repair may involve working with high voltage components or water connections. Always unplug the appliance before removing any panels.
If you are not confident in your ability to perform this repair safely, we strongly recommend contacting a professional technician.
Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill from the wall outlet before inspecting any electrical components.
- Check outlet and extension cords: Plug another appliance into the same outlet to verify proper voltage. Avoid using long or undersized extension cords with Enders pellet grills.
- Inspect power cord: Examine the grill's power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Access power module: Remove the control panel or rear service panel to locate the internal power supply (if separate from the main board). Check for loose connectors, discoloration, or burnt smell.
- Tighten connections: Ensure all spade terminals and plug connectors on the power input and output of the supply are fully seated.
- Test under load: If you have a multimeter and are qualified to work around live voltage, measure the DC output of the power supply when the igniter turns on. A large voltage drop indicates a weak supply.
- Replace faulty power supply: Install a compatible Enders power supply module or control board assembly as designed for your model. Secure all wiring and strain reliefs.
If Er07 persists with a known-good power source and supply, a shorted igniter, fan, or auger motor may be overloading the system and should be tested individually.
