Meat Probe Sensor Fault
Er10 displayed; grill temperature fluctuates wildly and food probe readings are erratic.

Possible Causes
Damaged meat probe cable, Probe tip shorted from moisture, Incorrect probe type plugged into jack, Faulty probe input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before handling internal electronics. The meat probe itself can be handled while the grill is on, but avoid hot surfaces.
- Inspect the meat probe: Check the stainless probe and cable for kinks, cuts, or melted insulation. If the cable has been pinched in the lid, it may be shorted.
- Test with no probe: Remove the meat probe from the jack. Power on the grill and see if Er10 clears. If it does, the probe is likely faulty.
- Try a known-good probe: If available, plug in a compatible Enders meat temperature probe and check for stable readings.
- Check probe jack: Inspect the probe jack on the control panel for debris or corrosion. Clean gently with compressed air or a cotton swab.
- Board input check: If multiple probes all read incorrectly, the probe input circuit on the control board may be damaged and the board will need replacement.
Do not continue cooking relying on a probe that triggers Er10; inaccurate readings can lead to undercooked food.
