Safety first: Turn OFF, unplug, and cool the grill before cleaning.

• Locate air intake: Identify the intake openings under or behind the fire pot area. On many Enders models, these are slots or holes near the combustion fan.
• Clean intake and fire pot: Remove ash and debris from the fire pot and surrounding area. Use a vacuum to clear intake passages.
• Check fan intake screen: Some fans have a mesh screen; clean off dust and grease to restore airflow.
• Reposition grill: Ensure there is adequate clearance around the grill (per Enders manual) so air can flow freely into the intake.

Persistent Er18 after cleaning may indicate a failing combustion fan or a defective airflow sensor if your model uses one.
