Possible Causes
Clogged grease channel or drain, Misaligned drip tray, Overfilled grease bucket, Grill not level front-to-back
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning grease. Wear gloves and avoid skin contact with hot grease.
- Clean drip tray and channels: Remove the drip tray and scrape off heavy grease. Clean the grease channel leading to the drain tube.
- Check drain tube: Ensure the drain tube is not clogged with hardened grease. Clear with a flexible brush or hot water (with grill unplugged and cool).
- Empty grease bucket: Regularly empty and clean the grease bucket to prevent overflow.
- Level the grill: Adjust the grill so it slopes slightly toward the grease drain side as recommended by Enders.
