Buttons on the Green Mountain Grills controller are unresponsive or intermittent.

Safety first: Unplug the grill before working on the controller.

• Clean controller face: Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth to remove grease. Do not soak.
• Inspect for cracks: Check the faceplate for cracks that could allow moisture in.
• Test buttons: With the controller removed, gently press buttons and listen/feel for proper click. If some buttons never respond, the keypad or board is likely faulty.
• Replace controller: GMG controllers are typically replaced as a unit. Install a new OEM controller if buttons remain unresponsive.
