How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill and empty the hopper before working on the auger.
- Empty hopper: Remove all pellets and vacuum out dust and debris.
- Check auger motor mount: Access the auger motor from the side or rear. Ensure the motor is firmly attached and the set screw on the auger shaft is tight.
- Clear jam: Remove the auger motor and pull the auger out of the tube. Clear any compacted pellets or foreign objects. Clean the tube thoroughly.
- Test motor: With the auger removed, briefly power the grill and observe if the motor shaft spins. If not, replace the auger motor with an OEM Green Mountain Grills motor.
