Combustion fan not spinning, Fan speed sensor (if equipped) not reading, Loose fan connector, Failed fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill and let it cool before accessing the fan.
- Inspect fan movement: Remove the side or rear panel and spin the fan by hand. It should move freely.
- Check connector: Ensure the fan plug is fully seated on the control board and that no pins are bent.
- Clean fan: Remove grease and dust from the fan blades and housing to reduce drag.
- Test operation: With panels off, plug in and start the grill. If the fan does not start or runs erratically, replace the combustion fan with an OEM GMG fan assembly.
