Display shows temperature but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

• Step 1 – Dry the panel: If the grill was exposed to rain, allow the control panel to dry in a warm, dry place for 24 hours.
• Step 2 – Reseat ribbon cable: Open the control housing and carefully unplug and replug the keypad ribbon cable.
• Step 3 – Test buttons: Reconnect power and test each button. If some remain unresponsive, the keypad or board is likely defective.
• Step 4 – Replace assembly: Install a new OEM Landmann control panel or keypad assembly as specified for your model.
