Controller buttons are unresponsive or require very hard presses

Safety first: Unplug the grill before cleaning or removing the controller.

• Step 1 – Surface cleaning: Wipe the control panel with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild soap solution. Do not saturate or spray directly.
• Step 2 – Dry thoroughly: Ensure no moisture remains around the buttons. Allow to air dry completely.
• Step 3 – Test response: Plug the grill back in and test button operation. If still unresponsive, the membrane or board may be failing.
• Step 4 – Replace controller: If multiple buttons fail or require excessive force, replace the entire control board assembly.
