Buttons on control panel are unresponsive or require very hard presses

Safety first: Unplug the grill before servicing the control panel.

• 1. Clean surface:
  • Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth to remove grease and dirt.
• 2. Test each button:
  • Press each button multiple times to see if any respond intermittently.
• 3. Inspect panel:
  • Look for cracks or lifting of the keypad overlay.
• 4. Replace control assembly:
  • If buttons remain unreliable, replace the control panel/board assembly as a unit.
