How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and cool the grill before cleaning or disassembly.
- 1. Check pellets:
- Empty the hopper and inspect pellets for moisture or swelling.
- Refill with fresh, dry pellets.
- 2. Clean fire pot and burn area:
- Vacuum ash from the fire pot and barrel bottom.
- Ensure air holes in the fire pot are clear.
- 3. Verify ignition:
- Start the grill and watch for smoke and flame within 5–8 minutes.
- If there is no smoke or flame, test the igniter and fan as in ERR6.
- 4. Check auger feed:
- Confirm pellets are dropping into the fire pot during startup.
- If not, inspect the auger motor and shaft for jams.
