Display shows PF and cook cycle stops unexpectedly

Safety first: Ensure the grill is stable and cool before troubleshooting.

• 1. Check household power:
  • Verify the outlet has steady power and the breaker/GFCI is not tripping repeatedly.
• 2. Inspect power cord:
  • Ensure the cord is fully inserted into the outlet and grill.
  • Replace the cord if there are visible cuts or burns.
• 3. Restart safely:
  • After a power failure, follow Masterbuilt's restart procedure: remove excess pellets from the fire pot, ensure no unburned fuel overload, then restart on SMOKE/LOW.
• 4. If PF recurs frequently:
  • Try a different outlet or circuit.
  • If only the grill is affected, the control board may be overly sensitive and require replacement.
