Pellets in hopper swell, crumble, or form clumps

Safety first: Do not attempt to burn wet pellets; they can cause jams and poor combustion.

• 1. Remove contaminated pellets:
  • Scoop out all pellets from the hopper.
  • Vacuum remaining dust and fines.
• 2. Inspect hopper lid:
  • Check lid gasket for damage or gaps.
  • Replace the hopper lid gasket if worn.
• 3. Use dry storage:
  • Store pellets in sealed containers indoors.
  • Only load enough pellets for the current cook.
