How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Operate the grill outdoors with good ventilation. Do not cook food until the smell dissipates.
- 1. Remove accessories:
- Take out any non-original accessories or packaging materials.
- 2. Clean interior:
- Wipe grates, drip pan, and interior surfaces with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry.
- 3. Perform burn-off:
- Run the grill empty at 350–400°F for 45–60 minutes.
- Allow to cool and repeat if odor persists.
- 4. Avoid harsh chemicals:
- Do not use oven cleaner or solvent-based sprays inside the cook chamber.
