Rust forming on grates or inside cook chamber

Safety: Ensure the grill is cool before cleaning rust.

• Remove surface rust: Use a grill brush or fine steel wool to remove light rust from grates and interior surfaces.
• Season grates: Coat grates lightly with high-smoke-point cooking oil and run the grill at 350–400°F for 30–60 minutes.
• Protect surfaces: Keep the grill covered when not in use and avoid leaving water or marinades on surfaces.
• Replace severely rusted parts: If grates or panels are heavily pitted, replace them with Memphis OEM stainless components.
