How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the grill before removing the control panel.

Step 1 – Clean exterior: Wipe the control panel with a dry cloth to remove grease and moisture. Avoid spraying cleaner directly on the panel.
Step 2 – Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the panel and check the keypad ribbon cable connection to the main board. Reseat it firmly.
Step 3 – Dry moisture: If condensation is present, allow the panel to air dry for 24 hours or use low heat to gently dry.
Step 4 – Replace panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the Monument control panel assembly.
