Inspect cable: Look for cuts, kinks, or crushed sections in the RTD harness. Repair or replace as needed.
Ambient conditions: In very cold weather, preheat the grill longer and shield it from wind. However, readings far below ambient indicate a sensor issue.
Test probe: Measure resistance at room temperature and compare to specifications. Replace if out of range.
