Safety first: Turn OFF and cool the grill before deep cleaning.

Steps:

• Clean internals: Remove grates, drip tray, and diffuser. Vacuum ash from the fire pot, burn chamber, and exhaust path.
• Inspect fan and vents: Clean the combustion fan blades and ensure intake and exhaust vents are not blocked.
• Check pellets: Use high-quality, dry hardwood pellets. Avoid blends with excessive bark or filler.
• Inspect lid seal: Check the lid for warping and ensure it closes evenly. Replace any worn gaskets if equipped.
