Water or moisture inside hopper or on pellets

Safety first: Do not attempt to run the grill with wet pellets.

Steps:

• Remove wet pellets: Scoop out all pellets from the hopper and auger intake. Allow the hopper to dry completely.
• Inspect gasket and lid: Check the hopper lid seal for damage and ensure the lid closes fully. Replace gasket if worn.
• Check for cracks: Inspect the hopper body for cracks or gaps that could admit water.
• Preventive measures: Use a Napoleon grill cover and store the grill under shelter when possible.
