Possible Causes
Low AC line voltage, Loose power cord connection at grill, Failed internal power supply on control board, Tripped GFCI outlet or breaker
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the grill OFF and unplug it before inspecting wiring.
- Check outlet and breaker: Verify the outlet is supplying stable power by plugging in another appliance. Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
- Inspect power cord: Examine the Nexgrill power cord for cuts, burns, or kinks. Ensure the cord is fully seated in the grill's inlet and the wall outlet.
- Inspect internal connections: Remove the control panel or rear access cover to view where the power cord connects to the main control board or terminal block. Tighten any loose screws and reseat push‑on connectors.
- Look for damage on the board: Check the main control board for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or discoloration near the power input section. If present, the board should be replaced.
- Test on a different circuit: Plug the grill into a known good, dedicated circuit without extension cords. Start the grill and monitor for Er7 recurrence.
- Replace control board if needed: If Er7 persists despite good power and connections, replace the Nexgrill main control board following the wiring diagram and labeling each connector.
