How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the grill.
- Power reset: Leave the grill unplugged for at least 5 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Plug back in and check if Err clears.
- Disconnect peripherals: With power unplugged, disconnect non‑essential loads (igniter, fan, auger) from the control board one at a time. Reconnect power and see if Err disappears, which can identify a shorted component.
- Inspect board for damage: Look for burnt traces, cracked solder joints, or water damage on the main control board.
- Replace failed component: If a specific peripheral causes Err when connected, replace that part. If Err persists with all peripherals disconnected, replace the Nexgrill main control board.
