- Inspect for obstructions: Check the fan blades for grease buildup, ash, or foreign objects. Clean with a brush and vacuum as needed.
- Check wiring: Ensure the fan's power connector is fully seated on the control board and that wires are not cut or burned.
- Spin test: Gently spin the fan blades by hand. They should rotate freely without grinding. If seized or very stiff, the fan motor must be replaced.
- Test operation: Plug the grill in and start a startup cycle while observing the fan (keep fingers clear). If it does not run, replace the Nexgrill combustion fan assembly.
