Display shows FL or "Flame Out" and grill stops feeding pellets mid‑cook

Safety first: Turn the grill OFF and allow it to cool until there are no hot embers.

• Check pellet level: Open the hopper and confirm there are enough pellets. If empty, refill with fresh, dry hardwood pellets suitable for Nexgrill pellet grills.
• Clean the fire pot: Remove grates and heat diffuser. Vacuum ash and unburned pellets from the fire pot and surrounding area. Ensure the air holes in the fire pot are clear.
• Inspect pellets: Discard any pellets that are swollen, crumbly, or damp. Moist pellets can extinguish the fire.
• Verify auger operation: With the grill cool and empty, start a feed or prime cycle and visually confirm that pellets drop into the fire pot. If feed is intermittent, inspect the auger motor and wiring.
• Restart properly: After cleaning, perform a standard startup: ensure fire pot has only a small handful of pellets, then start the ignition cycle and close the lid once smoke appears and the flame is established.
• Monitor for recurrence: If flame‑outs continue, consider increasing the set temperature slightly in windy or cold conditions and check for air leaks around the lid and door gaskets.
