Possible Causes
Disconnected RTD probe, Damaged RTD harness, Wrong sensor type installed, Failed sensor input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before accessing the control area.
- Confirm correct sensor: Ensure a Nexgrill‑compatible RTD probe is installed. Using a non‑compatible sensor can trigger SEn errors.
- Check all sensor connections: At the control board, reseat the RTD connector and inspect for bent pins or corrosion.
- Inspect harness routing: Make sure the sensor cable is not cut, pinched, or melted. Replace the harness if damaged.
- Substitute a known‑good RTD: If available, temporarily connect a new RTD probe directly at the control board to see if the error clears. If it does, replace the original probe; if not, replace the control board.
