Safety first: Allow the grill to cool before cleaning or adjusting parts.

• Deep clean burn area: Remove grates and heat diffuser. Clean the fire pot, air holes, and surrounding ash.
• Check fan performance: Listen for strong, steady airflow. If airflow is weak, clean or replace the combustion fan.
• Inspect auger feed: Ensure pellets are feeding consistently. Clear any hopper bridges and verify the auger motor runs smoothly.
• Seal the cook chamber: Inspect lid and door gaskets for gaps or damage. Replace Nexgrill gasket material if heat and smoke are visibly leaking.
• Avoid frequent lid opening: Keep the lid closed as much as possible during preheat and cooking to maintain temperature.
