Possible Causes
Hopper lid left open, High humidity and rain exposure, Hopper gasket leak, Storing pellets in hopper long‑term
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the grill before handling pellets.
- Empty hopper: Remove all pellets and vacuum out dust and fines.
- Discard bad pellets: Do not reuse swollen or crumbly pellets; they can jam the auger and cause flame‑outs.
- Inspect hopper lid seal: Check the Nexgrill hopper lid gasket and hinges. Replace gasket if it does not seal tightly.
- Use dry storage: Store pellets in a sealed container indoors and only load what you will use in the near term.
